System settings

The system settings give the system administrators the ability to affect just how certain functions are done throughout the different websites maintained by Splash Frog. Only Level 1 System Administrators are allowed access to this section of the system.

System Settings
Within the system settings you have different options:
- System URL - The default URL that is used for the page edit links if no mirror URL is provided in the website settings.
- System Email - The email address that is used for when any system errors occurs, as well as used for when sending emails from the system server.
- Force Secure HTTP - By checking this the system will force the administrators to view the system control panel via HTTPS instead of HTTP.
- Install Templates - By checking this the system will allow individual websites to install their own templates. If this is unchecked then the individual websites can only install templates installed through the system level.
- Install Modules - By checking this the system will allow individual websites to install their own modules. If this is unchecked then the individual websites can only install modules installed through the system level.
- Save History Uploads - By checking this the system will save the history of uploaded files from the different websites. This will allow the rollback of uploaded files to previous versions, as well as being able to restore uploaded files from the websites' trash bin.
System Templates

Backup Database
This option will allow you to create and download a SQL file of the system control panel database. Please note that this does NOT include the individual website databases. To download a website database, please see the site settings' backup database.
Optimize Database
This option will allow you to run the MySQL command OPTIMIZE TABLE on all of the system control panel database tables, making sure that all index's on the tables are correct and that all of the data structure is optimized.
